Life happens, and unexpected medical expenses can be stressful. That’s why we offer voluntary health plans (often called “supplemental health plans”) to provide extra financial protection when you need it most.
While these plans are not intended to replace medical coverage, they offer peace of mind during challenging times. As a result, you can better focus on recovery without worrying about your finances.
You choose which plan(s) to enroll in and who to enroll. You pay the full cost for coverage through convenient payroll deductions.
Each plan pays a lump-sum benefit directly to you, with no restrictions on how the money is spent.
You choose how to spend the money you receive – there are no restrictions. You can pay medical bills, hire help while you recover (like a cleaning service or dog walker) or buy groceries. You can also save the money if you don’t need it right away.
And, if you change jobs or retire, you can take your coverage with you.
Refer to the information below for details on each plan.
Beginning July 1, 2025, Voya Financial will take over administration of these plans.
