For student loan repayment questions not answered in the FAQ, “Ask a Question” via the allHR portal, email HRSS@memorialhermann.org or call 713.456.MHHR (6447).

Memorial Hermann will reimburse tuition and eligible expenses paid by eligible full-time and part-time employees who are enrolled in accredited degree and certification programs. Reimbursement amounts are as follows:

  • Surgical tech certification: $1,000
  • Clinical and non-clinical associate’s: $1,000
  • ADN or associate’s for radiology/surgery/sonography tech: $3,500
  • Non-clinical bachelor’s/master’s/doctorate: $3,500
  • Bachelor’s/master’s/doctorate in data analytics, clinical informatics or certain digital disciplines: $5,000
  • Clinical bachelor’s/master’s/doctorate: $5,000

Memorial Hermann will provide a virtual credit card during the application process to eligible full-time and part-time employees to use toward tuition and eligible expenses for accredited degree and certification programs. Direct payment amounts are as follows:

  • Surgical tech certification: $1,000
  • Clinical and non-clinical associate’s: $1,000
  • ADN or associate’s for radiology/surgery/sonography tech: $3,500
  • Non-clinical bachelor’s: $3,500
  • Bachelor’s in data analytics, clinical informatics or certain digital disciplines: $5,000
  • Clinical bachelor’s: $5,000

Note: Direct payment may not be used for master’s degree and doctoral programs.

Memorial Hermann has partnered with a number of institutions to pay tuition for eligible full-time and part-time employees pursuing clinical associate’s and bachelor’s degrees, clinical certificates and RN to BSN degrees. A virtual credit card issued during the application process will cover up to $5,250 per Fiscal Year.

  • Clinical associate’s and bachelor’s degrees for ADN, Imaging Technician, Medical Assistant, Medical Laboratory Science, Medical Laboratory Technology, RV, Respiratory Therapy and Surgical Technician
  • Clinical certificates for LVN, Medical Assistant, PCT, Sterile Processing Technology
  • Approved institutions: Alvin Community College, Houston Community College, Lone Star College, San Jacinto College and University of Texas Medical Business (UTMB)
  • RN to BSN degrees
  • Approved institutions: Lone Star College, San Jacinto College, University of Texas – Arlington (UTA), Colorado Technical University, Capella University, University of Houston – Victoria (UHV), University of Texas Health Science Center (UTHSC), Prairie View A&M University (PVAMU), Lamar University, University of Houston – Clear Lake (UHCL), Texas Woman’s University (TWU), University of Texas – Tyler (UT Tyler) and Sam Houston State University

Full-time and part-time employees who have completed a degree from an accredited institution within the last five years are eligible to receive monthly loan payments. The amount of the payment depends on the degree you received: 

  • Clinical bachelor’s/master’s/doctorate (includes Nurse Practitioner): $4,800/year ($400/month)
  • Non-clinical bachelor’s/master’s/doctorate: $2,400/year ($200/month)
