Culture Expo and Orientation

We want you to feel welcome at Memorial Hermann from day one. Learn more about Culture Expo and New Employee Orientation below.

  • For most employees, Culture Expo will be their first two days at Memorial Hermann. Culture Expo is a unique way to introduce new hires to the organization. By participating in this activity-filled orientation, you will be able to meet employees from across our system and learn about the organization, our values, the ways we serve our community and helpful information to get you started. There will be a one day in-person orientation and a half-day virtual orientation, after which you will complete your required regulatory modules.
  • Be sure to review the document below for helpful tips for Culture Expo including directions, parking, what to bring, and dress code. Please remember to arrive at least 20 minutes early and bring your appropriate forms of work authorization to complete your Form I-9 as indicated in the guidelines provided by New Hire Services.

Helpful Tips for Culture Expo

Most new employees will attend a New Employee Orientation where you will learn important information related to your work location. This may include information about your leadership team, where to park, important policies, customer/patient experience, safety information and more. All employees must be oriented to their location so attendance is mandatory if your facility/entity has a designated New Employee Orientation.

Information about New Employee Orientation — dates, times and locations — will be provided by your campus education team. Make sure you plan to arrive early to park and find the appropriate location. Select the appropriate document below for your designated orientation location for helpful tips on parking with directions and a map, what to bring, and appropriate dress code.

Important Note: We have prepared for your attendance, so only attend orientation at the facility/entity designated by your campus education team. You may be assigned to an orientation that is at a facility/entity different than the one where you will be working.

Depending on your new position, you may be required to attend additional orientation and training to prepare you for your new role. If scheduled, you will need to attend these important sessions. Your hiring manager will schedule you for these sessions and communicate your schedule to you directly. If a conflict in the dates or times arises, please contact your hiring manager immediately.
