Depending on your position you may require additional on-boarding. Learn more below.
Memorial Hermann requires that all employees complete a background check and a pre-employment health screening as first steps in the onboarding process. The background check and the pre-employment health screening occur at the same time and determine your employment eligibility. You cannot move forward in the onboarding process until BOTH are complete.

Your role may require licenses and certifications as minimum qualifications and/or to meet regulatory requirements. You must provide copies of these prior to scheduling your first day at Memorial Hermann.
Once you have been determined eligible to hire, it’s time to schedule your official start date with Memorial Hermann! New Hire Services will contact you to discuss any relevant factors that might impact your start date. Then it’s time to mark the calendar with an official start date. We will be in touch with your supervisor, too.
Once you have confirmed your first day, you will receive your login information to access to Workday, our HR system, within 24 hours.
During the onboarding process, you will receive access to Guardian/LawLogix to complete Section 1 of the Form I-9.
You will receive two emails from LawLogix instructing you to complete Section 1 of the Form I-9, which is required by the federal government. You’ll also find links to information about important documents you need to submit to complete Section 2 and prove your identity and authorization to work in the U.S. Be prepared ahead of time! Be sure to have completed your part of the Form I-9 online and make sure you bring the correct federally required documentation. Visit the official government website to see examples of acceptable documents. Section 2 of the Form I-9 must be completed within three business days of your start date. Please note: Memorial Hermann does not participate in the electronic program E-Verify. At the time in which you may need to renew your work authorization documentation, we will be unable to provide you an E-Verify number.
