Struggling to Make Ends Meet

When money is tight, knowing where to turn can make a difference. Whether you’re having trouble paying bills, covering groceries or managing an unexpected expense, these resources can help you explore your options and take the next step.

While we’ve included some state and federal resources below, Memorial Hermann’s Community Resource Centers (CRCs) are a helpful first stop if you’re unsure where to begin. Staff can help you find support, connect you with services that fit your needs and assist with applications for SNAP and medical coverage. Click the link in the Take Your Next Steps box to find a location near you.

If you’re facing an immediate bill or late fee, DailyPay can help you get it paid. Send your earned wages to your bank account the next business day for no charge, or instantly for a small fee. That means you can pick up a shift and cash out quickly if needed.

If you’re having trouble affording groceries or keeping food on the table, support is available. Memorial Hermann benefits and community resources can help you find food banks, meal programs and assistance to pay for food.
